Worship and Services

Nigel preaching during the Candlemas ServiceWe respect the beauty and breadth of Anglican spirituality in our worship. We try to meet the different worshiping needs by meeting together on a Sunday for Communion and providing special events and services for different groups. For example the first Sunday of the month there is Soul Cafe. We also do a quarterly Messy Church service aimed particularly at parents and young families and also traditional services including Choral Evensong.

All the churches are packed at Easter, Harvest and Christmas time as we come to celebrate these joyful Christian festivals with the whole community.  We also reach out to the community by holding services at local nursing homes, social clubs and running various children’s clubs at the local primary school.

Nigel preaching during the Candlemas ServiceWe are a community made up of a wide cross section of ages and backgrounds who have a lot of fun and work hard. We are a loving and caring family, one that is outward looking and supportive. We have a loving, caring, community spirit. We are a church family made up of a diverse group of different ages and backgrounds, seeking to share the love of Jesus Christ with all. You will be assured of a warm welcome at any of the churches in the Harling United Benefice. If you have questions about our services and would like to contact the Rector, please fill in the online Contact Form for more information.
